Japari Park is an untamed paradise where various humanoid creatures, referred to as "Friends," go about their daily lives in all parts of the natural environmental park. The lively Serval meets a strange new Friend one quiet afternoon in the savannah area. Curiosity driving her, she quickly dispatches the Friend, Kaban, to learn what species she is. Serval is disappointed to learn that not even Kaban knows the answer. The two become friends and embark on a magnificent trip across Japari Park's diverse ecosystems, sites, and attractions. Their goal is the park library, where they seek to learn more about Kaban. They encounter many more Friends along the journey, peering into their lives and assisting them.
